After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length. In a word: no. A typical visit may require just a few, highly-focused, minutes.
But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up what your spine and nervous system, adjust you, and get you on your way.
Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and we can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.
We recognize your time is valuable. We do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

The Chiropractic Intake form will be sent to our computer system. Please print the Radiology and Massage Therapy Intake, fill them out, and bring with you to your appointment.
Your first visit
You will have a consultation with Dr. Fix to discuss your health history and assess the root cause of your discomfort. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Fix to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
After your consultation, Dr. Fix will perform a complete chiropractic examination which will include testing your reflexes and flexibility focusing on your area of complaint.. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, and postural tests will be performed as well.
If warranted, x-rays will be next to asses your structure and to make certain there aren't any underlying issues the exam wouldn't uncover. The treatment will follow and you will be assessed afterwards. If a treatment plan is necessary, one will be determined for your unique situation and condition.
After the consultation, examination, and x-rays (if taken) , you can choose to receive your first treatment. This may include spinal adjustments, physio therapy, and/or soft tissue massage.
We encourage your second visit to be within two or three days of your first visit. This will help to assess any immediate changes and any initial response to the adjustment. In addition, based on our findings and your goals, recommendations for an appropriate care plan will be given to you.
